PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
HSBC Tower/8 Canada Square is HSBC headquarters since its completion on 2002. The existing BMU was removed with two single jib machines type SJ-0618. In 2014, 12 years after building completion, GinD received the order to develop a new solution compliant with existing building conditions. Key challenge faced by the engineering team was to develop a machine that could be lifted using existing lifts with limited capacity (3000 kg) and dimensions (3×1.5m).
